Welcome to the Bethany Fireman's Association Website!
 
The Bethany Fireman's Association provides Emergency Medical Services, Fire Suppression and Rescue Services to the Town of Bethany Connecticut.   

 

Dispatch/Operations frequency 33.5400, Fire ground frequency 33.4400. 


The BVFD thanks all those who helped with and attended our Annual Chicken BBQ.  The proceeds this year went be to benefit Fire Fighter/MRT Keith Johnstone who was injured in a traumatic accident, the BVFD raised over $13,500 dollars for a the Johnstone Family!!!  The BBQ was a great success.

Interested in becoming a volunteer?
 
The Bethany Fireman's Association, is always looking for new members.  To become a member you must be 18 years of age, and reside in the Town of Bethany.  The association is made up of a diverse membership of professionals:  lawyers, computer network administrators, contactors, auto body specialists, self employeed, and students.  To find out more about becoming a volunteer contact Assistant Chief Alan Green at (203) 393 - 2799 Ext. 482 or stop by the Bethany Fire Department Headquarters on any Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. and ask to speak to one of the fire department officers.
